CityCo Manchester manages the city’s Business Improvement District: a consortium of 400 leading retail and hospitality brands.

The business plan is delivering City Hosts, operational and security support, city intel and tourism campaigns in partnership with Marketing Manchester.

The BID runs a successful, high-profile, public events programme that includes The Manchester Flower Show, Halloween in the City, Chinese New Year and MCR Student Socials (shopping nights in partnership with Manchester Arndale).

CityCo members can take part to benefit from the extensive experiential, media and marketing coverage.

These events have driven hundreds of thousands of extra visitors into the city centre and gained more than £20 million AVE (advertising value equivalent) of local, regional and national press coverage.
