CityConversations: 2022 Manchester Events Programme (CITYCO/BID)

Date & Time

CityCo is relaunching our CityConversations corporate events series.

The sessions are a chance to hear from Manchester colleagues on the strategies, developments and initiatives that are shaping our city centre. Whilst we previously hosted guests in front of a panel, for now, we will stick to Zoom.

For the rest of the year, we will be looking ahead to 2022. What is planned? How do we bring regional residents, workers and tourists back into the city centre? How will they move about? How is Manchester city centre evolving?

Our new autumn calendar will explore these themes.

INVITE: Join us on 13th October

We start with a briefing on Manchester’s 2022 public events calendar.

The discussion will be an opportunity to understand how the Council, tourist board, Business Improvement District and other organisations will be animating and promoting the city – to ensure Manchester remains as vibrant and successful as it’s always been.

CityConversations: 2022 Manchester Events Programme
Wednesday 13th October
10am – 11.30am on Zoom

With Guests:

Mike Parrott, Head of Events, Manchester City Council
Nick Brook-Sykes, Director of Tourism, Marketing Manchester

From the city centre to Heaton Park, to Salford Quays and Old Trafford, there will be street festivals, marathons, and sporting events galore. We’ll cover these, and the marketing that will help to welcome people along.

The briefing will allow businesses to take note of events and plan.

Our events are usually programmed for CityCo and Business Improvement District members, however CityConversations are open to a wider business audience.

Invites have been circulated to CityCo and Manchester BID Members.
