At CityCo and Manchester BID we’re pleased to be able to bring another family-friendly, outdoor-focused summer event to Manchester city centre – following the success of our Manchester Flower Show.
The playful #LooneyTunesXManchester street art trail launched 16th June and stayed in place across the city until end of July.
It was a partnership event between CityCo, Manchester Business Improvement District (BID), Premier Communications, Warner Bros and Looney Tunes, in celebration the release of Space Jam 2: A New legacy. 25 years after the first, well-loved film.
The trail was a colourful walking tour of the iconic characters popping up around the city. It featured the famous faces of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Tweety Pie and more.

Artist Captain Kris said: “Like most people, I’ve loved Looney Tunes since I was a child. It’s been a lot of fun creating these cheeky, adventurous poses, with the Looney Tunes characters wreaking havoc across Manchester”
That’s all folks!
