Zoom Briefing: Retail Reopening

Date & Time

CityCo and Manchester BID continue to work in close liaison with our city partners including Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police, Transport for Greater Manchester, Salford City Council and Marketing Manchester.

As the Covid-19 lockdown progresses, and we potentially move to phased reopenings in the city centre, we will be hosting a series of Zoom meetings for business members to help keep everyone in the loop with city planning.

As the ‘Phase 1’ reopening of non-essential retail is set for 15 June, we continue our series of post-Covid Zoom Q&As with a pre-launch meeting for retailers and retail property landlords.

The Council, TfGM and Police will be updating businesses on measures taken, and planned, to help ensure Manchester city centre is safe and welcoming in the weeks and months ahead.

Join us to learn how authorities are responding to social distancing needs, adapting the public realm and offering new customer-focused initiatives in preparation for the gradual return of workers, commuters and visitors.
