Zoom Briefing: Sir Richard Leese

Date & Time

CityCo and Manchester BID continue to work in close liaison with our city partners including Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police, Transport for Greater Manchester, Salford City Council and Marketing Manchester.

As the Covid-19 lockdown progresses, and we potentially move to phased reopenings in the city centre, we will be hosting a series of Zoom meetings for business members to help keep everyone in the loop with city planning.

As Manchester prepares to reopen, with retail and food and drink relaunches coming up this month and next, we continue our series of post-Covid Zoom Q&As with a conversation with the Leader of Manchester City Council, Sir Richard Leese.

It is an opportunity to hear about the city’s strategic priorities to support Manchester’s economic and welfare recovery, how the city is preparing for a safe and welcoming return to work and leisure, what support is available for business from the Council, and how public and private sector partners are working together to respond to social distancing needs.
