We completed a ‘Next BID’ Shadow Board process from February to June 2017, over five round-table forums attended by BID members.
We began by circulating a consultation document to all BID levy payers to ask about support for the current Manchester BID and priorities going forward.
Monthly meetings then determined the remit of a 2018-2023 Draft Business Plan. The forums debated how future projects could benefit businesses and lead to more footfall and more of a say in our city’s future.
The meetings led to an agreement around five key themes for a 2018-2023 Manchester BID:
- Public Events
- Marketing and PR
- Operational Services
- Lobbying
- Internal Communication
A 2018-2023 Draft Business Plan was then circulated for comments.
