One Big Summer Weekend

Date & Time
Venue
City centre shopping district

The BID hosts an annual summer event in the shopping district. We’ve transformed the streets with Show Gardens at Dig the City and now bring together the best festivals at the start of the school holidays, over one long weekend.

On 28th – 30th  July 2017, The Manchester Picnicmanchester jazz festival and Clownfest Manchester take over Exchange Square and St Ann’s Square, alongside garden bars and street entertainment across the area.

What’s On

School’s (almost) out for the summer, and to mark the start of the holidays we’re delighted to welcome One Big Summer Weekend into Manchester. For three days (28 Jul to 30 Jul), the city centre will be awash with summer fun, thanks to a rather fabulous mash-up of the Manchester Picnicmanchester jazz festival, and, for the first time ever, Clownfest.
