- BID Manager
CityCo & Manchester BID work with a number of data suppliers to gather up-to-date city centre information including footfall, spend analysis, demographics and customer journey patterns.
We hope trend figures can help businesses compare and contrast with their own data sources, and help to inform day-to-day operations, future planning and investment.

Monthly City Centre Footfall
Footfall cameras track numbers across the retail district; giving trends vs same weekly/monthly figures last year and 2019 (pre-Covid).
Weeks run Sunday to Saturday, with data provided by Springboard from 5 cameras: Market Street, St Ann’s Square, New Cathedral Street, King Street and Exchange Square (Arndale Steps).
We are currently reporting 2021 v 2019 to help track recovery against pre-pandemic.
