Chinese New Year in Manchester

Chinese New Year in Manchester is a long-standing internationally recognised festival and one the largest events of its kind in the UK. Events celebrate Chinese culture spanning Chinatown, cultural venues and Manchester’s shopping and leisure districts.

Each year, Manchester City Centre BID coordinates the city’s ‘Zodiac’ campaign, and overarching city PR. In the past, we have also staged a range of contemporary events in the retail district, including our Giant Pig, Golden Dragon, Chinese Warriors and Light Show.
