Via Manchester City Council: Road closures for the annual Chinese New Year parade.

The event will be held on Sunday 22nd January 2023, where the parade will start at Manchester Central Convention Complex and end at the Chinatown Car Park.

Road Closures

Road closures will commence between 6am to 10pm for the following:

Faulkner Street          George Street
Chain Street            Back George Street
Nicholas Street          Pine Street
Reyner Street           St James’ Street
Charlotte Street

Road closures will commence between 11am to 3pm for the following:

Windmill Street         Mount Street
Peter Street            Oxford Street
Oxford Road            Portland Street
Princess Street

Possible delay around 12 noon – 1pm near St Peter’s Square due to congestion.

Parade will be crossing the tracks at St Peter’s Square between 12:30pm – 12:40pm.
