Manchester City Centre BID is governed by a Board of Directors, supported by a series of management and working groups.
BID AGM (Annual)
The Annual General Meeting takes place in Q1, bringing levy payers together to:
- Hear about future plans
- Provide feedback to the BID team
- Network with fellow businesses.
BID Board (Quarterly)
The BID Board is comprised of sector representatives from levy-paying businesses, providing strategic direction and oversight.
BID Council (Quarterly)
The BID Council brings together around 40 levy payers from across sectors, alongside key city stakeholders. Attendees include:
- Leading retail, leisure and hospitality businesses
- Landlords and managing agents
- Cultural and entertainment venues
- Public sector representatives from Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police and Transport for Greater Manchester.
BID Finance Committee (Bi-Monthly)
The Finance Committee is a smaller representative group of levy-paying businesses. It:
- Reviews financial matters in detail
- Reports to the main Board
- Makes recommendations on financial strategy and governance.
