Manchester City Centre BID and Manchester Accommodation BID are again working in partnership with leading LGBTQ+ charity, Manchester Pride.
Together we aim to coordinate celebrations across the city for Manchester Pride Festival 2024 and help Business Improvement District members understand how to meaningfully support and get involved.
This is an exciting opportunity for central retailers, leisure venues and offices to take
part in one of the city’s most celebrated events and support the charity who works
year-round to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people.
Attracting 1000’s of people to the city centre, Manchester Pride Festival comprises a huge programme of events which will kick-off a week earlier this year: on Friday 16 August.
Activities will include the Gay Village Party, Manchester Pride Parade, Superbia, Family Pride MCR, Youth Pride MCR, Candlelit Vigil.
Plus, a new Manchester LGBTQ+ Film & TV Festival run by CityCo on behalf of Manchester Accommodation BID.

Pledge to end hate
Manchester Pride asks businesses to join their campaign ‘I Choose Kindness’ to help
raise awareness of hate crimes towards LGBTQ+ people and how to support
communities, so that everyone feels safe to be their true selves.
Join the All Equals Charter
The charter is Pride’s programme to help businesses understand, recognise and challenge any form of discrimination in the workplace. Joining the charter will help to make your workplace inclusive, diverse and equal for marginalised people.
