We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly event volunteers to join the Halloween in the City volunteering team.
Halloween in the City is looking for fantastic volunteers to support the city’s free family friendly festival of frights and fun. Join the team behind Manchester’s biggest free family festival, taking place in the heart of the city.
We’re looking for keen volunteers to to be part of a dedicated team supporting the set-up, live event and de-rig of this popular event.
Roles will include event build, dressing, parade stewarding, assisting with administrative duties, as well as advising and supporting the public to successfully navigate and engage with the event.
We expect thousands of families to come into the city dressed up in their Halloween costumes to see the giant rooftop monster invasion, Walk the Plank’s monster parade, the Monsters Rock! Music Festival, fairground fun at the Carnival of Monsters – and more.

- Manchester City Centre retail district
- All volunteers will receive £20 to go towards expenses
- Must be 18 and over*
