Water Safety Awareness Training

Join us for Water Safety Awareness training in collaboration with the Manchester Water Safety Partnership (CityCo, Canal & River Trust, Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue, Greater Manchester Police, Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the Royal Life Saving Society UK.

The partnership works together to help make Manchester’s waterways safer, with a key focus on the city centre.

Training Content

• Presentation: a short talk from the Manchester Water Safety Partnership on the importance of water safety awareness among staff and customers
• Practical: how to prepare staff to act in the event of an emergency, including the use of life saving equipment (throw lines, rings, and reach poles).

The training is open to venue managers, front of house staff, bar and operational staff.
