On Thursday 21st March, 60+ volunteers from a range of city businesses participated in a street ‘clean-up’ to support the Great British Spring Clean.

Antisocial behaviour in Manchester city centre shops and leisure spaces must be reported say city leaders as new campaign launches to Stop It!

You will be a key member of CityCo’s consumer events and marketing teams, supporting the planning and delivery of large scale public events and marketing campaigns.

Now in its seventh year, the urban festival attracts hundreds of thousands of additional visitors to the city centre and launches the summer event season in the city.

The Office Manager is responsible for supporting the activities of the busy CityCo offices. This includes the co-ordination of meeting and training rooms, liaison with the landlord and visiting contractors.

You will deliver large-scale public events in the centre of Manchester to bring more people into the city and continue to raise Manchester’s profile as a leading visitor destination.

Sunday 11th February. Chinese New Year Dragon Parade, 12 noon. Start – Oxford Street & George Street Junction > Portland Street > Princess Street > Faulkner Street >  End – Chinatown Car Park.

In March, CityCo will be focusing on briefing members about partnership work that is helping to tackle homelessness and street begging in Manchester.

All at CityCo and Manchester City Centre BID are deeply saddened by the loss of CityCo’s former Chair, Kate Vokes.

Manchester City Council are organising a fireworks display in Castlefield to mark the New Year. From 10pm, with an 11 minute firework display at midnight.

The CityCo and Manchester City Centre BID office will close for the Christmas break at 5pm Thursday 21st December. We will reopen on Wednesday 3rd January.
