Last weekend to coincide with the first Saturday of the Christmas Markets, Manchester Business Improvement District delivered a magical day of family entertainment across the retail district.
More than 50 performers took to the streets to welcome many thousands of visitors and shoppers – and spread lots of festive smiles and joy.
We hope that you spotted our stilt-walking reindeers, living lampposts, snow globe queen, giant puppets and roaming bands. It was great fun and incredibly busy.
The event was funded and organised by Manchester BID. The day of festivities was programmed to support the city centre retail community following the Christmas hiatus of 2020 and such a difficult year.
All was supported by our ongoing marketing partnership with Visit Manchester, social media promotion and PR.
