Session 3: Wednesday 13th March, 9.15-10.30am
Learning more about Real Change MCR
A session for businesses who want to learn about Manchester’s alternative-giving fundraising campaign, with James Charnock from MMU, Stephanie Moore from Reach Out to the Community and Jane Davies from MCC’s Homelessness Directorate.
Real Change MCR is the city centre fund that gets people who are sleeping rough into their own homes. Led by a team of volunteers from CityCo, city centre businesses, MMU and MCC, the fund works to quickly secure tenancies. We will look at questions such as:
- How does the fund work to turn donations into long-term change for some of Manchester’s most vulnerable people?
- How can city centre businesses help?
Please submit any questions in advance to operations@cityco.com
