The Manchester Flower Festival is produced annually by CityCo on behalf of Manchester City Centre BID.
This vibrant urban festival celebrates the start of the summer season and supports a diverse mix of businesses. It has been proven to drive visitor numbers, positive engagement, and media coverage for Manchester.
During the festival, the city centre is transformed into a floral-themed trail featuring showpieces, green installations, and creative window displays – all designed to showcase Manchester’s retailers, hotels, and attractions.
The event takes place over the late May Bank Holiday weekend each year and is promoted via an integrated campaign spanning branding, digital, social, influencer marketing, print, outdoor advertising, transport advertising, and PR.
The festival and its promotional campaign are delivered in collaboration with a wide range of partners and suppliers, including Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester, and Marketing Manchester.
