CityCo and Manchester BID are supporting this year’s #GBSpringClean as usual and are organising a series of litter-picking and clean-up events around the city centre during the launch week 20th March.
Last year we had great success in tackling the Oxford Road area and canalside.

To launch the national initiative, in Manchester you can support by joining the City Council’s ‘Golden Litter Picker’ Walk in support of the veterans charity Walking with the Wounded.
Golden Litter Picker Walk
10am start: The Veterans Village, 42 Canada Street, Miles Platting
Midpoints: Oldham Road
1pm arrival: St Peter’s Square, city centre
Post event reception: Manchester Central Library
Litter-pickers can join as individuals or groups. All equipment is provided, just dress well for the weather!
