The Manchester Picnic is back - call for quality street food traders Posted 26 March, 2012

The Manchester Picnic, Friday 3 – Sunday 5 August

The Manchester Picnic is back for the third year to transform Piccadilly Gardens into a foodie family oasis.

Call for high quality street food traders

The picnic builds on the success of the city’s markets to bring food and fun to the heart of the city centre.

In 2011 the three day event attracted over 15,000 happy picnickers, and stalls included Wasabi Sushi, Ginger’s Comfort Emporium, Harvey Nichols and the multi award winning team from Aumbry.

We’d love YOU to be part of this year’s picnic

This year we are looking to expand the food and drink experience by inviting the North’s best and most beautiful street traders to join the picnic.

We’d love to welcome a host of stylish mobile stalls offering customers a range of tasty food experiences from around the world.

This is a fantastic promotional opportunity for traders. Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens is a busy and vibrant space – central to the retail, hospitality and cultural cores of the city.

A bespoke high profile marketing and PR campaign will drive attendance and promote partners, and the event will feature as part of the city’s summer campaign led by Marketing Manchester. Last year the picnic generated over £300,000 of PR value.
