Water Safety Awareness Training for Businesses: World Drowning Prevention Day
Meet at The Church (formerly Churchills)
Manchester city centre businesses are invited to attend water safety training. This is an opportunity for staff to learn more about the city’s waterways and how to keep customers and workers safe around our canals and rivers.
The session will include a 30-minute presentation by Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service and Royal Life Saving Society.
Followed by 30-minutes of practical training on how to use life-saving equipment including throw lines, rings, safety bouys, and reach poles.
The training is FREE and is open to all staff and security staff.
