Citizen journalists are individuals who take it upon themselves to disseminate information to the public. Commonly known as ‘auditors’, they are people who will film encounters with the intention of exposing or attempting to extract information from individuals to release the content online.
Commonly found around Manchester, businesses are increasingly struggling with individuals or collectives harassing employees such as front desk staff.
Join the training to learn more about the rights of those who choose to film encounters, and the rights of those being filmed.
