Whit Walks procession: Monday 25th May
The procession will start from Manchester Cathedral at 10am moving along Deansgate and Peter Street into St Peter’s Square for a short service/act of worship then returning to the Cathedral via the same route.
The following roads will be subject to rolling road closures between 10:00 and 12:30hrs:
- Cathedral Street (Fennel Street to Cateaton Street)
- Cateaton Street (Cathedral Street to Deansgate)
- Deansgate (Victoria Street to Peter Street)
- Peter Street (Deansgate to Oxford Street)
The event should be low impact with an expected attendance of 800 people managed by stewards along the full route.
