Interested in learning more about Manchester city centre to support business operations and planning? We invite members to join us on regular walks highlighting some of the city’s most pivotal developments.
Join CityCo for our second walking tour in May and visit three of our city’s most talked about locations.
Manchester Central
We will step inside one of Manchester’s most iconic venues and discover what makes Manchester Central the go-to destination for standout business events. Taking an exclusive venue tour offering us a first-hand look at its striking vaulted arches, versatile event spaces, and vibrant on-site bar, restaurant and café – perfect for everything from conferences and expos to client dinners and private celebrations. We will be guided by an expert team known for exceptional service, gaining insight into how Manchester Central leaves a lasting impression and elevates events.
No.1 St Michael’s
For our second location we will be exploring No.1 St Michael’s which is setting a new benchmark for office and commercial space in Manchester. A vibrant, future-ready best-in-class property with an address in the heart of Manchester, it combines thoughtfully designed workspace with luxury amenities, and flexible spaces that support focus, collaboration and wellbeing. Right in the beating heart of Manchester, just moments from the iconic Town Hall and Central Library, St. Michael’s brings together a thoughtfully curated collection of world-class restaurants, bars and cafés, all set around a lively public square.
On the tour you will also be invited into Circolo Popolare – a vibrant Italian trattoria known for bold flavours, generous sharing plates and theatrical interiors, bringing energy, warmth and a true sense of occasion to St. Michael’s. As well as GRIND – an all-day destination where speciality coffee, seasonal food and expertly crafted cocktails come together, creating an energetic social hub from morning meetings through to late evenings.
Bridgewater Hall
Our third and final stop on the walking tour we will be visiting the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester’s international concert venue built to give the best possible space for music. We will be given a guided tour of the venue and have chance to take a look at the magnificent Hall.
And for anyone who would like to remain after the walking tour there is a free lunchtime concert in the stalls foyer shortly after the tour finishes.
