This year’s Great Manchester Run will take place on Sunday 26th September 2021 and includes the 10K, Junior, Mini, and Half Marathon events.

• A stellar elite line-up will feature some of the world’s best athletes, who will head a field of more than 15,000 competitors.
• The action-packed day starts with the Great Manchester Run Half Marathon at 08:30, followed by the Elite 10k Wheelchair race at 09:00.
• The young runners get their chance to shine with the Junior and Mini Run’s starting at 09:30, before the elite women 10k race starts at 11:15.
• The elite men start with the first of the 10k massed starts 11:30, with two more massed starts at 12:00 and 12:30.

Several roads within the city will be affected by the events and road closures and traffic diversion plans will be in operation on the day.
