There are a number of grants available to support Manchester businesses.
Local Restriction Support Grants (LRSG)
Manchester City Council can pay LRSGs to businesses in the city affected by Covid restrictions and closures. You might also be eligible for an additional backdated grant to August of between £3,000 and £6,825. Check eligibility and apply online: manchester.gov.uk/LRSG
£1000 Christmas Grants
If you are a ‘wet pub’ and have already received a LRSG, you don’t need to do another application to get an extra £1,000. Manchester City Council will use the details from your original application to send a form to complete and return. You will need to provide a copy of your accounts up to March 2020.
Additional Restriction Grants (ARG)
You might not be eligible for a LRSG but if your business has been affected financially, you might be able to claim an ARG. This applies to businesses with property costs that are not registered for business rates. Check eligibility and apply online: manchester.gov.uk/ARG
Second Round Culture Grants
The Culture Recovery Fund: Grants Second Round is for cultural organisations as they transition back to a viable and sustainable operating model during April-June 2021. Check eligibility and apply online by 26th January: artscouncil.org.uk/CRFgrants
